Russia has claimed fresh battlefield gains in eastern and southern Ukraine, announcing the capture of three settlements — Malinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Rovnoye and Lesnoye in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russian Defence Ministry said its forces are continuing offensive operations near Krasny Liman and Konstantinovka, while expanding pressure on Ukrainian defensive positions.
Moscow also reported air strikes using FAB-3000 and FAB-500 guided bombs against Ukrainian positions in Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions. Ukraine’s Armed Forces said they repelled a large-scale overnight drone attack, claiming air defences intercepted or suppressed 138 out of 154 incoming drones.
