Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has strongly condemned what he described as an “unprovoked act of aggression” by the United States United States and the Israeli government Israel. According to his statement, the strike took place in the middle of ongoing diplomatic negotiations between Iran and Washington, effectively disrupting the dialogue process at a critical moment.

Araghchi argued that attacking during active diplomacy undermines trust and makes future negotiations significantly more difficult. He also emphasized that Iran has received widespread international sympathy following the incident, noting that several countries publicly condemned the attack.

In his remarks, Araghchi specifically thanked India India for expressing solidarity with the Iranian people. He highlighted humanitarian assistance provided by New Delhi as a meaningful demonstration of support during a period of heightened tension. The statement reflects Iran’s effort to frame the situation as both a diplomatic breakdown and a violation of international norms, while also reinforcing its relationships with countries it views as supportive partners in the international arena.
