How to save money on groceries

I cut my grocery bill in HALF 🛒 and it had nothing to do with coupons or rewards points.
We went from spending almost $2,500/month on groceries for to under $1,000/month, just by changing these four habits:
1. Meal plan FIVE meals a week, not seven (leftovers + pantry meals cover the rest)
2. Shop the pantry FIRST — most of us have $200-$400 of forgotten food at home
3. Set a hard weekly cap & track it LIVE while shopping
4. Go generic on the boring stuff (pasta, oats, spices, frozen veggies)
The $1,500/month we freed up? Going straight toward our trip out of the county this year✈️
