Can the Cost of a Meal Deal Feed Me All Day?

Could the price of a single meal deal each day cover breakfast, lunch and dinner instead?
In this budget food challenge, I took the cost of a service station meal deal (£3.95 per day) and challenged myself to create three meals a day for the same money. With the cost of living continuing to rise, many people are looking for ways to save money, reduce food spending and make their household budgets stretch further.
Over five working days, I used budgeting, meal planning and sensible shopping to see how much food I could create for the same daily cost as a meal deal. Rather than paying for convenience food while out at work, I wanted to find out whether cooking at home could provide better value and more meals for the same amount of money.
The challenge was simple: stick to the same budget as a daily meal deal and create breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Could careful budgeting, meal prep and forward planning beat the convenience factor of buying food on the go?
This video explores frugal living, budget cooking, meal planning, saving money on food, reducing grocery costs and making the most of every pound spent. Whether you're trying to cut expenses, manage a tight budget, save money during the cost of living crisis, or simply get better value from your food shopping, this challenge highlights just how far a small food budget can go.
Would you rather buy a meal deal each day, or use the same money to cook your own meals at home? Let me know what you think in the comments.
