In remarks broadcast by Israel's Channel 14, Netanyahu said such actions damage Israel's reputation and the settlement enterprise. His comments came after dozens of masked Israeli settlers attacked homes around Qusra, with witnesses saying seven Palestinians were trapped inside one home. Netanyahu nevertheless reaffirmed his support for expanding Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which he referred to as Judea and Samaria. Rights groups say settler violence has increased.
