Andy Burnham meets Georgia Harrison at 10 Downing Street to discuss the government's plans to tackle violence against women and girls.

Burnham outlines measures including bringing forward the deadline for specialist rape and sexual offences teams across England and Wales, around £13 million in additional funding for domestic abuse, restraining and stalking orders, and further support aimed at tackling repeat offending.

Harrison also presses for a new approach to non-consensual intimate image abuse, calling for reported content to be removed immediately while putting the responsibility on the uploader to demonstrate consent.

Burnham backs the principle behind her proposal and says he will work with Harrison to explore how it could be delivered.

The discussion also covers changing attitudes among men and boys, improving women's safety on public transport and the wider goal of reducing violence against women and girls.
