Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has made notable diplomatic remarks during his visit to India, expressing gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Indian government. He also highlighted his close working relationship with India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, describing sustained communication between the two sides even during periods of heightened regional conflict.

Araghchi referred to the recent hostilities involving Iran as an “act of aggression,” while emphasizing that diplomatic engagement with India remained uninterrupted during the crisis. His comments reflect Tehran’s broader effort to maintain and strengthen ties with New Delhi despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia.

The visit underscores the strategic importance both countries place on their bilateral relationship, particularly in areas of trade, energy cooperation, and regional connectivity. Analysts view these remarks as a signal of continued diplomatic pragmatism, with both nations seeking stability and dialogue amid shifting global alliances.
