Russian President Vladimir Putin said the world is undergoing a structural shift at the BRICS Business Forum in New Delhi on Friday.

Putin said the shift is evident as 'old leaders' are being replaced by 'new engines of growth'.

He said BRICS countries account for more than 40% of the world’s GDP and contrasted this with the economic contribution of the G7.
