Ukraine has intensified its long-range campaign against Russia, with Moscow reporting more than 600 Ukrainian drones targeting the capital and surrounding region overnight.
At the same time, Russian forces continue devastating attacks on Ukrainian cities, killing at least 21 people and wounding dozens over the last 24 hours.
Kyiv is also preparing for major political changes as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy moves to formally appoint Yevhenii Khmara as defense minister and Andrii Sybiha as foreign minister.
Russia, meanwhile, is threatening the United Kingdom with unspecified “consequences” over alleged British involvement in Ukrainian drone strikes.
