Russia's nuclear-powered battlecruiser, Admiral Nakhimov, has returned to its home port in Severomorsk after completing another round of sea trials, bringing it closer to rejoining the Russian Navy. Originally commissioned in 1988, the Cold War-era warship has undergone years of extensive modernisation, including upgrades to its weapons, sensors, propulsion and combat systems.
