US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that all options remain open for negotiating an end to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Ongoing efforts to facilitate peace between the two countries have received less attention following the recent escalation of conflict in the Middle East.
Mr Rubio said US President Donald Trump “thinks it’s a stupid war; he thinks it's a senseless war.”
“If we can play a role in bringing it to an end, we are going to use the power and influence of the United States to do so.”
