Kyiv said on Wednesday that Ukrainian-manufactured Flamingo missiles struck a military production facility in the Russian city of Cheboksary, located roughly 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The facility produces components for Russian drones and missiles, which are used in attacks against Ukraine.

Kyiv also confirmed attacks against an oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region, as well as the port facilities in occupied Mariupol.

Over the preceding day, Russian strikes against Ukraine have claimed the lives of six people and injured nearly 70.

Meanwhile, Bulgaria’s new government will no longer supply weapons to Ukraine, said the country’s pro-Russian PM, Rumen Radev, who won parliamentary elections in April.

To discuss this and more, Ukraine Brief’s host Ashim Kumar is joined by Stepan Rusyn, Program Coordinator at the Transatlantic Dialogue Center.
