My Sydney moving journey continues… and this time things get even more stressful. After my TAXIBOX storage container fails to arrive, I’m suddenly stuck in my new apartment with no furniture, no belongings, and no clear solution. What follows is a very overwhelming day filled with phone calls trying to organise a new TAXIBOX delivery and figure out if my movers will have to come back.
This was honestly my lowest point during the move — everything felt like it was going wrong.
Thankfully there are a few small wins along the way. My new Cosy Island shoes arrive and I do a little unboxing and first impressions test… and they turn out to be incredibly comfortable (which I definitely needed after such a stressful day!).
A couple of days later I’m still waiting for my TAXIBOX to be re-delivered and my internet is still not working… but finally the day arrives when the container and my movers show up — and we manage to get all my furniture and moving boxes into the apartment in just 30 minutes. Exhausting, but such a relief to finally have my things again!
If you’ve ever moved apartments, you know how chaotic it can get… but this vlog shows the real ups and downs of moving in Sydney.
