More than 800 indigent students have successfully completed their Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programme under an educational support initiative established by former Kano State Governor, Ibrahim Shekarau.

At a ceremony in Kano, the State Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, described the initiative as a vital contribution to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's educational development agenda.

The programme highlights the importance of supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds and expanding access to quality education and teacher training.
