The Holy Quran makes it crystal clear that the true legacy of حضرت ابراہیمؑ (Abraham AS) was never based on race, ethnicity or political supremacy. Yet today, under narratives like the “Abraham Accords,” many attempts are being made to convince Muslims that modern political alliances somehow represent the continuation of the faith of Ibrahimؑ. The Quran strongly challenges this assumption.

In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:124), Allah clearly declares that His covenant does not belong to the oppressors. This means divine leadership is not inherited through bloodline alone, but through justice, righteousness and obedience to Allah. Any nation involved in oppression, occupation, killing of innocents and injustice cannot claim automatic divine favor merely through ancestry.

The Quran further states in Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:67) that Ibrahimؑ was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but a true Muslim devoted solely to Allah. This verse completely dismantles the false narrative that the religion of Ibrahimؑ belonged exclusively to any ethnic or political group. The real “Millat-e-Ibrahim” is submission to Allah, truth, morality and justice.

Similarly, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:132-133) shows that Prophet Ibrahimؑ and Prophet Yaqubؑ instructed their children to remain Muslims — not followers of racial nationalism or tribal supremacy. Therefore, Muslims must understand that the message of Ibrahimؑ cannot be used as a cover for geopolitical agendas or occupation policies.

The Quranic position is simple: Allah honors faith, justice and piety — not race, power or political propaganda. Muslims should study the Quran directly and not be misled by deceptive narratives presented in the name of Abrahamic unity.
