The 3rd International Summit of Religious Leaders 2026 convened on June 12 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), bringing together religious leaders, scholars, policymakers, and youth representatives from around the world. Co-organized by the Muslim World League (MWL) and Malaysia’s Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM), the summit carried the theme, “Religious Leaders and Youth Empowerment: Advancing Coexistence and Social Harmony.”
The gathering featured keynote addresses by Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim and MWL Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, highlighting the critical role of faith communities in fostering peace, understanding, and social cohesion in an increasingly complex world.
