I Thought Prophet Ibrahim’s Sacrifice Was About Obedience!? The Quran Revealed Something Deeper!?
Assalamu alaikum 🤍
As a revert Muslimah, I used to think the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) sacrificing his son was mainly about obedience. But the more I study Islam, Tawheed, and the Quran, the more I realize that this story goes much deeper.
What if the real sacrifice was not about the knife at all?
In this reflection, I share my thoughts on Tawheed, attachment, identity, ego, and the hidden idols we sometimes place in our hearts without realizing it. The story of Ibrahim (AS) teaches us a powerful lesson about loving Allah above everything else while still loving the blessings He gives us.
This video explores:
• The deeper meaning of Prophet Ibrahim's test
• Tawheed and removing false gods from the heart
• Attachment, control, identity, and ego
• Islamic reflections from a revert Muslimah
• Lessons from Eid al-Adha and the Quran
May Allah guide us all, purify our hearts, strengthen our iman, and help us place Him above everything else. Ameen.
