SUPERGIRL MOVIE REVIEW WITH MY FRIENDS!🍿

Yesterday, Me and my crew all went to see SuperGirl at Disney Springs AMC Dine-In Theater.
As we all agree to share our quick thoughts on DC’s latest film about Superman’s drunk angsty cousin, SuperGirl.

So is it Super Dope?
Or Super MID?
Unfortunately, as we all agreed.
It was Super MID!👎

Pros: David Corenswet’s Superman was good to see again.
Especially since he had more Screen Time than just a one off cameo.
Krypto The SuperDog still is a good Doggo, since Superman’s film last year.
Love that dog.
Jason Momoa’s Lobo was perfect casting.
Milly Alcock did a good job as SuperGirl for the most part.

Cons: The movie can get very boring at times.
The comedy doesn’t land to make most of us laugh.
The villain had potential, but his name and impact feels very forgettable.
It tries to be like Guardians Of The Galaxy, Star Wars, and Mad Max.
But it feels like a flat water down imitation of those beloved blockbuster films.
The thematic message at the end felt so on and off.
Where it tries to pay it off, and then it goes completely against it at the end.

Overall, it’s not a great DC film.
It’s not the worst.
It’s just MID.
Even Toy Story 5 was a much better movie than Supergirl in 2026.
Also, just wait for Spider-Man Brand New Day.
That seems to be the more promising superhero movie of the year.
