Treasury to appeal High Court ruling on proposed Safaricom stake sale

The National Treasury is set to appeal a High Court ruling halting the sale of the government’s 15 per cent stake in Safaricom to Vodacom. According to Treasury CS John Mbadi, the process complied with the law and prudent financial management.
