After chasing my tail with overheating issues on the HSP Savagery 1/8, we finally found the real culprit!
Running a 3660 2400KV motor on 3S in a heavy 1/8 chassis with 13T/46T gearing was pushing it to the absolute limit. After a past heat spike, the neodymium magnets inside the rotor got partially demagnetized — causing huge amp draws and instant heat even with perfect gear mesh and small
