✨ How I lost 5kg and have maintained it for over a year 🤍
My approach was intermittent fasting around 3–4 times a week. When I was actively trying to lose weight, I usually fasted for around 14–18 hours without eating.
During my fasting window, I kept it simple: water and black coffee (no milk or sugar). I also avoided things like sugary-free sweets/gum, Coke Zero, fruits, and vegetables during the fasting period.
Now that I’m maintaining my weight, I’m much more flexible and I do have small snacks sometimes while I’m fasting. For me, it’s about finding a balance that I can actually maintain long-term rather than being overly strict forever.
Most importantly, don’t stress! 🤍 Everyone’s body, lifestyle, routine, and relationship with food are different. What worked for me may not work for you, and that’s completely okay.
This is simply me sharing my own experience of losing 5kg and maintaining my weight for more than a year — not medical or professional advice.
✨ Find the method that works for YOU, be consistent, and give yourself time. Your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. 🫶
